A new year and exciting projects in the Protective Workshop

The New Year is in full swing. The children are back in school in the Early Learning Centre and Lethabong. Everyone is back and refreshed after the Christmas break and more importantly the Protective workshop has reclaimed it's place after the Nickel Market.

There are a few new faces in the work shop and many new ideas for the 2014 Nickel Market. Why don't you pop in and say hello and check out what we all get up to.

If you can spare an hour or so each week or even as a one off, we'd love it if you could join us. Let us know when you're coming and we'll arrange the cake.

A late Christmas for Lethabong

Christmas finally arrived at Lethabong today via Santa Shoebox.

The school closed early in December and the shoebox volunteers were occupied with their British families visiting them in South Africa and visiting the UK. So with the children only returning to school this week it was a lovely start to the new term.

The children sat patiently in the shade from the sun while their names were called out for them to receive their boxes and while they waited they enjoyed a drink and a cake.
